After being demoted for her role in the Mars One Incident, Captain Alma Johnson takes on a mission for which there is little hope for success. However, if she succeeds, she will have regained her position in society. Unfortunately for Alma, not all is as it seems on the other side of the galaxy, and she must figure out not only what the Unifciaton wants from humanity but if she will willing to give it.
